Spotify Issues

Hi everyone!

We are aware of the problems some of you are experiencing accessing the show on Spotify. We’re working with Spotify to fix it, but unfortunately it’s a technical problem* that their engineers need to fix, and not something we can control.

If you got unsubscribed to the show, you can re-follow it using this link. All of our episodes and transcripts are also available on our website—click the “Listen” tab above.

We will update this post when we know more. We’re just as frustrated as you are, and trying our best to urge Spotify to make this right.

* - Basically: There were two versions of the show listed on Spotify, and they unpublished one without telling us. If you were subscribed to the version they removed, you were unsubscribed to the show, and your listening history was deleted. That’s not okay, so we asked Spotify to reinstate your subscription and listening data. They have not confirmed if or when this can happen, but we are doing everything we can to convince them what a big deal this is for us and our listeners.
